Made from a well known Belgian biscuit, the ‘speculoos’. This is a Belgian invention, invented in 2007 by a Belgian housewife and a friend.
She brought her speculoos-paste to the TV-show ‘the inventors’ on Flemish TV where she won the first price and sold her invention to Lotus-Biscoff. The rest is history.
